Tim Murphy is President of En Avant Consulting. He has a passion for developing businesses and their young leaders. Through his decades of working with a rich variety of young leaders in both business and military environments, he has seen the value of working on the whole organization and whole person to improve performance and develop leaders 
prepared to meet any challenge.
Working with expert teams within organizations, Tim has reaped millions of dollars savings in both telecommunications companies and military organizations by understanding business processes and their failures, then finding and implementing creative solutions to those failures.
During the course of his business and military experience Tim has mentored young leaders as a regular part of his professional activity. He sees the energy and promise of the “millennial” generation and is passionate about helping them develop into leaders as whole people. Partnered with Leadership Design Group, Tim is being certified as a Master Mentor in their unique process of Designing Leaders through Whole-Life Mentoring.
Tim also has a long history of Defense and Security industry experience, both as an Air Force officer and industry leader. He is particularly experienced in international operations and business development, having directed the operations of all US Air Force units in Japan and served as the US Defense Attaché to Israel. He has won bids worth millions of dollars and involving multiple countries in both the customer and supplier teams. He uses this experience to bring value to customers seeking help in creating and closing business in the US governments or in a variety of international contexts.
Tim has degrees from the US Air Force Academy and Arizona State University and over 3,000 hours flying F-16, F-106, T-33 and T-37 aircraft in the US Air Force.
